Alessandro Palmigiano is the co-owner of the firm along with his father.
First class honours graduate from the Faculty of Law of the University of Palermo, he has been a member of the Bar of Palermo since 1996 and is specialized in civil and commercial law.
He has often dealt with litigation concerning consumer protection and many of the cases he has followed have been taken up by the mass media and published and commented in the main Italian law magazines. He currently provides assistance to public entities, enterprises, multinationals and major insurance companies with out of court settlements.
In the firm he deals personally with the cases assigned and monitors the activities of the other lawyers, coordinating and supervising them. Since 2004 he has been General Secretary of the Arbitration Court set up at the Chamber of Commerce of Palermo.

Since April 2001 he has been the Manager of the legal research and programming activities of the DET Institute - Law, Economics and Technology of the Rosselli Foundation of Turin. For this entity he has carried out numerous research projects on legal-administrative and consumer protection issues, often commissioned by the European Commission or by Italian Ministries. He is a member of the CFR – Net (Common Framework Reference), a group of experts appointed by the European Commission to draft the reform of European contract law in relation to consumer protection. He was appointed member of the High Level Working-Group of the European Commission – DG Domestic Market – to review the directive on product liability (85/347/EC).
He is legal consultant to Anna Bartolini (current representative of Italy in the European Consumer Council and European member of the Steering Committee of the Transatlantic Consumer Dialogue; former chairperson of the National Consumers and Users Council, set up by the Italian government Prime Minister’s Office). He teaches on a post-graduate masters course organized by the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and the University of Palermo and on many other university courses and seminars, dealing with issues related to the protection of consumers-users and the statutory rights of individuals.
He has an excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of French. He has spoken on civil and commercial law at numerous national and international conferences and is the author of scientific articles and publications including:
