She graduated in law from the University of Palermo’s Law Faculty in December 2002 and obtained a post-graduate specialization diploma with honours in the Law of Regions and Local Entities with a dissertation entitled “Tax collection in Sicily”.

She has been a member of the Bar of Palermo since 2004. She has worked for the Palmigiano law firm since 2003, offering advice and assistance on financial law, family law, consumer protection and transport law (comparative law and international private law). She completed her research diploma on Elements of European Law and Comparative Methodology in April 2008 with a dissertation entitled “Good faith in consumer contracts". In October 2003 she was awarded the qualification of professional Conciliator. In December 2004 she obtained a Masters in European studies on Family Law organized by the Università degli Studi of Palermo, Political Sciences Faculty, presenting the thesis entitled “Family Trust”.

Since 2003 she has carried out research for the Institute of Law, Economy and Technology of the Rosselli Foundation of Turin on judicial-administrative and consumer rights issues. She been an arbitrator for the Arbitration Court of Palermo since 2008. She is a member of ISFL, International Society of Family Law and of AIDC, Italian Comparative Law Association. She has an excellent knowledge of English and good knowledge of French. She teaches on university and masters courses and has published many articles.
