Third Seminar
4-5 April 2008
The Interdepartmental Centre of European and Comparative Studies of the Università degli Studi of Palermo, Faculty of Political Sciences, and the Rosselli Foundation of Turin, with the collaboration of the Palmigiano law firm, organized an interesting initiative on consumers’ rights: the third seminar on consumer protection held in Palermo on 4 and 5 April 2008.
The seminar saw the participation of some one hundred 100 professionals, legal representatives of companies, lawyers and accountants who wanted to gain more information about the changes to consumers' rights and sound professional know-how of consumer protection.
For this reason the seminar adopted a practical approach, examining and explaining not only the substantive aspects of the law but also the main jurisprudential measures. The teachers included university professors, lawyers specialized in the sector and magistrates with the aim of making the seminar more useful and productive.
The event was publicized and reported in the national press.
