Visit to Palermo of the Ambassador of Lithuania

On 16 May 2008 the Lithuanian Ambassador to Italy, His Excellency Sarunas Adomavicius, asked Alessandro Palmigiano to help the embassy organize his first visit to Sicily.
The ambassador met the mayor, Diego Cammarata, the Prefect, Giancarlo Trevisone, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Roberto Helg, the Archbishop of Palermo, Monsignor Paolo Romeo and the President of the Sicily Region, Raffaele Lombardo with the Palmigiano law firm arranging and planning the agenda of the meetings. The ambassador also visited our offices and met the staff.

Palermo 16 May 2008 – The Lithuanian Ambassador to Italy, Sarunas Adomavicius, was welcomed to Palazzo Comitini by the President of the Province of Palermo, Maurizio Gambino. The diplomat, on an official visit to the city in view of the opening of a Lithuanian consulate in the island’s capital was accompanied by lawyer Alessandro Palmigiano.
The President of the Province Gambino said “We want to open up new import and export channels with eastern Europe and Lithuania in particular, fully exploiting the quality of the products. This marks another step in our policy to promote economic and social growth locally, which cannot neglect the valorization of its natural vocations to increase tourism as well."
President Gambino offered the Ambassador a ceramic tile bearing the emblem of the Province and a book on the artistic and natural glories of the province.
